A beautiful dress agency with a range of once cherished and new women’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
We are independently owned in the heart of North London’s Crouch End, where we have been for 28 years.
Having nurtured fabulous relationships with local people, stylists and direct with several luxury brands we are able to source some special pieces and rare finds, the latest seasons to classic vintage pieces. We house everything from Balenciaga, Chanel and Alice Temperley; to Whistles, Jigsaw and Maje.
Change of Heart makes good quality and luxury garments accessible to all budgets – more than that, we are opposed to fast fashion; we believe if it’s broken then fix it, and if it’s a little on the large or smaller size, then have it tailored! We offer these services to our customers too.
We encourage you to spend time browsing the rails of our shop as there is great treasure to be found.
How it works
If you have had a ‘Change of Heart’ we can sell your pre-loved and new clothes, shoes and accessories on your behalf.
We have allocated times in which you can bring clothes into us, and we only accept laundered or dry cleaned clothes that we are able to put straight out onto the shop floor, that are in great condition and no more than three years old. We will go through everything with you and confirm suitability as well as agree a price with you there and then.
We accept clothes seasonally, so for example, we cannot sell your fur coat in the middle of Summer. We ask you to bring them in the Autumn months to sell into winter.
Items are usually kept on the shop floor for 8 weeks. We generally have a fast turnover of stock and there are new things every day. We therefore reduce the price slightly after 4 weeks if your item has not sold. Once the 8 week period is over we ask you to give us a call to arrange a time to come in and see us and we will arrange payment or the return of any unsold goods. Please be sure to let us know before coming into the shop to collect your items. All accounts need to be settled within 6 months.
We accept items on the following days and times.
MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY – 12pm-4pm
SATURDAY – 11am-2pm

Our friendly team have vast knowledge of our ever changing stock and can help you find the perfect coveted item or outfit especially suited to you. Whether you are looking for that jaw dropping party dress, the perfect fitting jeans or the look that’s going to wow them in the job interview – come and have a chat with us and let us help you.
We also run a ‘wish list’, so if you are looking for something in particular we can either source it for you or keep you in mind for when it comes in to us.
If you have been dreaming of that designer handbag or those towering heels but just can’t bare to part with the big money, the chances are that we will often have it for a fraction of the price.
